Compared to other fitness/food journal apps, this app is not up to par. The food choices are limited and not up to date. The bar code scanning does not work at all. Almost every item I scan, its says that the item is not found.
The list of foods you can/cannot eat in each phase is helpful, but items need to be added to this list and you should be able to filter the list based on what you can vs what you cant eat. When I want to look at a list of what I cant eat in phase 1, I have to scroll through the entire list and see what has an X next to it.... Not very efficient.
I think the recipe portion is great, but you only get to look at approximately 10 recipes with the free version. Paying $4.99 a week for all the recipes is absolutely ridiculous. I wouldnt mind paying for an upgraded app, but that price is pretty steep.
Lastly, the app desperately needs updated all around. The graphics are bad and it just needs a fresh look.
I wish this app was much better than it is! Because of all these reasons, I will probably switch over to using the MyFitnessPal app.
