The South Beach Diet is the best Diet i have ever made and i löst 24 Pounds
I be done south beach before , my weight then was 215 pounds over a three month period I followed the diet and moderate exercising my weight went to 178 . I am a believer in this diet
This app is really useful for tracking what you eat, even if youre not doing South Beach. I kick started my weight loss after being stalled for months and I am keeping on track with this. Plus the recipes are easy and tasty. Worth the few bucks a I paid.
The recipes are great Tis is my second time using South Beach. I love the burgers and lasagna. My favorite thing is that it automatically creates a grocery shopping list based on your choice of foods. I also really like that it gives you detailed nutritional information, total fat grams eaten, total carbs etc. I have tried Most other major programs but come back to this because i can eat lots of variety, the app and website make it easy to follow. There are a couple of improvements I think they could make. The ability to choose how many servings you want from the recipe and therefore it would create a better shopping list. My first go round, i followed it exactly and lost about 6 pounds in the first 4 days before i realized i was eating for 4! Obviously the combination of foods works even though i was eating more than the recommended amount. The other thing that would be helpful is an search in the recipe section. I do not feel hungry and i can still have some sweets using their desert recipes if i choose. Good luck with your journey.

Some bad moments

The recipes have no picture just the one as teaser! The menu plan is totally boring and it repeats. The app itself has no great layout, no more features or a special. I dont understand the price (4,49€). I can NOT recommend this app!
Has never synchronized with my account properly. Meal planning tool not available, weight tracker glitchy. Good diet, crappy app.
SBD is a complex nutrition program and the app (like the new website) sacrifices looks for content. Its difficult to navigate and record alternate meals in the journal. The food content is based on US products and typical food items found in Canada are not available. 13-01-06. Had to reinstall because it would not show Meal Plans for next week. Now it will not dl any information at all. Very frustrating app.
Wow.. Paid for the app to get some recipes, and then they want me to subscribe and give more money to access more then just the basics.. I just dont support this type of business, it isnt fair to the customers.
I love the convenience of the app! I also love the online version. Wouldnt it be great if the developers could somehow have the app communicate with the online version so that when you spent more than an hour developing your weekly meal plan it actually TRANSFERRED to your app? Disappointing that although both require a login, both are the same account, neither sync with each other... waste of time, frankly!!
It is ok but is lacking major features i expected. I assumed it would show on my planner the count on bad items for the day (like, bread count towards bread allowance). It just counts my calories instead (optional). It is just another simple food tracker. I already had one what did the same.
